Episerver manager installlation problem

Hi, I'm trying to install episerver manager on Windows xp sp2. I'm using windows installer 3.1. When I start the installer it gives the following error: "The installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid installation package". When I try to open the installer package with Orca (from Microsoft SDK) it says: "Failed to open MSI database..." This happens with all versions of Episerver manager installation package. Any ideas how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.
