Wouldn't it be nice to have an option in the editors right click menu called "Insert placeholder text" that inserts Lorem Ipsum text?

Why not create one yourself, it is very easy to make a plug-in for the editor tool. Take a look at the code samples, specifically there is a tutorial at http://www.episerver.com/en/EPiServer_Knowledge_Center/developerforum/2628/2646/5302/. You could make a new tool that has a pop-up asking for the amount of words, paragraphs, or characters and then use JavaScript to paste the "Lorum Ipsum" text into the editor.

Absolutely, I had that in mind! My idea was that this function could be of intrest for a lot of people.
