question regarding installation of RC2

Using the manager I installed a new instance of RC2 I am running XP Pro with SP2, and SQL 2005 on the same machine. I was not prompted to create a Admin account during this process and so could only login using my windows account once completed. In admin mode i have no rights to create a new user, even though i have given my windows group admin rights. can anyone shed some light as to what i have done wrong, if anything? Ben

Hi Ben, There is a known problem in RC2 this one. The workaround for this is to manually edit youir web.config file and change the role and membership providers to the following: I hope this helps. Regards, Tibi
