Using EPServer from Console Application

Hello Is it possible to use EPIServer from a console application \ window service ? We need to insert new pages to the epiServer automaticly using a consolse application. The console appilication will read the content of a window directory and insert the files inside this directory (microsoft word files) into the EpiServer. Any idea how can this be done ? Thanks

I would expect connecting through the EPiServer web services would be the easiest approach for this. I don't have any source code example handy, though.
