korean language on Episerver email

hi,

our customer is trying to send newsletter in koean language.

while creating a newsletter language is displayed correctly.

in "mail section" korean characters are replaced with Question marks; browser is able to show characters correctly after clicking "page not showing correctly".

 

Can you help us?

version is episerver version 6 but I do not accurate version number / build number.

Hello Tomi,


My first thought about this is that you have wrong encoding in episervermail.config, see here for instance: http://world.episerver.com/modules/forum/pages/thread.aspx?id=33489. I remember that at least a couple of years back this was set to iso-8859-1 by default. Try to change this to utf-8 and see if that helps.
