Standalone Image Editor

Has anyone successfully used the Image Editor standalone (e.g. to let users edit images directly from a page)? It's popped in it's own window so I can copy the location (which includes the image to edit in the querystring) and browse to it in a separate window, but then the image doesn't load (ajax "spiral" never finishes). Is there more magic to this popup than the URL?

Because the Image Editor depends on several dialog arguments, it's not as straight forward as opening the url in a new window.

You need to open the dialog using EPiServer script methods.These links should guide you in the right direction:
