EPiServer Education hereby invites you to an after-work seminar where we will give in depth presentations about the new Dynamic Data Store and UI Dashboard.

Dynamic Data Store: O/R Mapper with a difference
Dynamic Data Store is a new component offering an API and infrastructure for saving, loading and searching both static data structures (.NET object instances) and dynamic data structures (property bags).
The component is shipped as part of the EPiServer Framework package (first released with EPiServer CMS 6) and is intended to be used by all EPiServer products.
Alternative technologies include Microsoft’s Entity Framework 2.0 and Hibernate for .NET. However, the Dynamic Data Store has been specifically designed with EPiServer CMS and its flexible user-driven data in mind.

Creating Gadgets for the Dashboard
EPiServer CMS 6 includes a new plug-in area called the Dashboard. One interesting aspect of the Dashboard is the technology used, ASP.NET MVC, which presents both new opportunities and interesting challenges.

During the seminar we will walk you through the creation of a gadget and focus on server interaction, unit testing, AJAX, and client-side development. Of course, we will also use data store to our advantage.

The evening starts with a seminar after which you are welcome to stay and spend time with colleagues, friends and other EPiServer developers.
